Describe your college experience
Coming into college, I struggled with homesickness and the fear that comes with new beginnings. However, I was able to turn this into an incredible opportunity to get to know not only who I am, but who I want to be. I lead every day with the hopes of making myself proud. College for me has been such an incredible experience, and I have had an incredible relationship with my community here. Without college and that huge shift in my life, I wouldn't be who I am today!
Tip for future students
My biggest piece of advice would be to expect the unexpected, and don't hold onto anything expectations that make it hard for you to grow. I came into college thinking I knew what I was in for; instead, I was smashed in the face with reality. I wish I could tell myself that I couldn't predict my future, and that that was a good thing! College is a time to discover who you are and where you want life to take you; it isn't the place to stay stuck in one spot. Allow this change to happen; it's okay to be a little scared, but turn that fear into hope for yourself and for what is to come!

Career goals
I hope to go to grad school for my masters in Social Work. I then plan to move to New York and pursue my licensure to then become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a focus on Trauma and mental illness. I also want to travel the world and experience the many different cultures that enrich the planet!
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night would consist of me spending quality time with my friends! I love to simply catch up over dinner, watch a movie, or even take a simple walk. These simple moments are my favorite ways to enrich my life and enjoy my free time!
