Describe your college experience

My transition to Cornell was challenging at first, especially learning how to balance academics, work, recruiting, and campus life all at once. Over time, I’ve become much more intentional about how I spend my time and have found a great balance between academics, professional development, and actually enjoying the Cornell experience. I’ve gotten involved in finance, startups, athletics, and mentorship opportunities, and one of my favorite parts of Cornell has been how many unexpected doors can open just by being curious and putting yourself out there.

Tip for future students

Take initiative early. Cornell has an incredible amount of opportunity, but a lot of it won’t come to you automatically. Reach out to people, try clubs outside your comfort zone, and don’t be afraid to apply for opportunities before you feel completely ready.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been Honey Bees, Humans, and More because it feels like one of those uniquely Cornell classes you probably wouldn’t get to take anywhere else. It’s been a fun way to learn about bees, agriculture, and their broader impact while experiencing a more traditional side of Cornell beyond my business coursework.

Career goals

I’m interested in private equity and venture investing, with the long-term goal of building and investing in companies of my own. I’ve enjoyed working with startups and evaluating businesses, and I want to keep developing that experience while exploring opportunities across investing and entrepreneurship.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going to the gym, grabbing food with friends, playing Spikeball or exploring Ithaca, and ending the night somewhere relaxed with good people.

High school or secondary school

Queens High School for Language Studies, Queens, NY

Previous college

Rutgers Business School, The State University of NJ Transferred to Cornell University to pursue Applied Economics and Management at the Dyson School, aligning more closely with my academic and career goals.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the Arts Quad/ Libe slope, especially around sunset. It has that classic Cornell atmosphere with the historic buildings, open lawn, and views across campus, and it’s one of the best places to slow down for a bit between classes or catch up with friends while playing spikeball.
