Chill psychology major well-versed in the resources on campus

Hello! I’m Charleigh and I’m a transfer student from the Philadelphia area. I left my old school because I wanted more research experience. Since then, I’ve become an undergraduate researcher, mental health educator, and found many different communities on campus.

Describe your college experience

I transferred to Rutgers as a sophomore. Since then, I’ve had some struggles with financial aid and switching my major but I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had.

Tip for future students

Take advantage of all of the resources offered. They really make your life so much easier.

Favorite class

Physiological psychology was my favorite class because I got to learn about the chemical and hormone reactions that cause our behaviors.

Career goals

I hope to earn a PhD in neuroscience and become a neuroscience researcher.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to go out and do one of the craft nights that a club might be holding. I also like to relax and watch movies.

Favorite spot on campus

I love studying at IFNH because of the food at Harvest and the plant wall that creates the calm atmosphere.
