Describe your college experience

Being an only child, it was hard being dropped off at my freshman year dorm with communal bathrooms. While I have lived in apartment style housing for the following years, dorming was always the worst part of college for me. Once I made friends, found the activities I liked, and community events I filled my time outside of going to class and studying.

Tip for future students

In college, you will have a lot of opportunities thrown at you; you might get overstimulated. You need to pursue as much as you can without burning out.

Favorite class

My favorite class was Environmental Studies. Environmental studies focuses on the intersection of environmental science, psychology, and sociology.I particularly liked this class because it related art work to the science I usually study. For example, when studying natural disasters we studied songs that were released after hurricane Katrina such as Formation by Beyonce.

Career goals

After college, I plan to work in research and development for cosmetic companies while pursuing a master's degree.

Ideal way to spend a free night

A perfect free night always starts with a friend calling me up at the last minute to go somewhere with her. This usually includes going out to eat, getting ice cream, going downtown, or going to the movies.
