Analytical business major who knows the fastest ways to get around campus

Hey there! I'm Justis, a junior planning on going into Global Supply Chain Management. I love music, art, and loading the dishwasher CORRECTLY. When I'm not crunching numbers and figuring out the most efficent way to complete a task, I'm probably singing or playing the piano. I love BYU! It's a fantastic campus and the people here are even better. I've been around the block and know some of the campus secrets, including how to avoid the West-campus stairs (spoiler alert: it invloves an elevator in my 2nd home, the Tanner Building). If you want to navigate campus, know what routes to take, and ask a bunch of questions that may or may not relate to BYU, I'm your guy!

Describe your college experience

I love BYU. The commiunity is great, there's nothing better than having an emphasis on the Savior in all that we do. My classmates are really nice and I meet someone new every day. The professors are understanding and willing to help when I have questions or concerns. The campus itself is beautiful (despite the fact that there is always construction somewhere!) and is a joy to walk on.

Tip for future students

Don't just try to stay on top of your work, try to get ahead! If you stay focused and get things done early, it will open doors and opportunites. It will also give you some buffer-space in case something slips through the cracks; you'll have enough time to focus on that one item because the rest of your work will be taken care of.

Favorite class

BYU Men's Chorus! I love music and singing, and to be a part of such an incredible choir surrounded by such a fantastic community was wonderful. We sang some powerful and heartfelt pieces, and some humerous songs as well.

Career goals

I'd like to go into Supply Chain analytics, making creative solutions to improve efficiency.

Ideal way to spend a free night

A free night is best spent having a game night with a few close friends. We'd play card games, maybe a board game, all while listening to music on my record player.

High school or secondary school

Skyview High School

Favorite spot on campus

The 4th floor of the Library. It's nice and quiet, it has decently comfy chairs, and is great for studying.

Meeting point

Joseph F. Smith Building Courtyard on the Brigham Young University campus
