University of Arkansas
An enthusiastic and spunky junior with a love for connecting people.
Hi there! I'm a fifth generation Razorback from Tulsa, Oklahoma! I'm an extroverted and involved student with a passion for journalism, politics, and public speaking! I'm an Arkansas Student Government Senator, member of New Heights Church, and active member of Delta lota, where I've found an incredible community of strong, supportive women! Outside of school, you can usually find me sipping an overpriced latte or competing in the Miss America Organization, where l've grown in confidence, service, and style (and had a whole lot of fun along the way!). I'd love to show you around campus!

Describe your college experience
I spent 14 years at a small private Christian school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, so stepping onto the University of Arkansas campus came with a bit of culture shock. At first, everything felt big — the classes, the crowds, the pace — and I was definitely intimidated. On top of that, I faced a personal loss during my freshman year that made it even harder to find my footing. But as tough as that season was, it pushed me to grow. Sophomore year, I finally felt myself begin to bloom. I got more involved, built a support system, and started carving out a space that felt like home. It didn't happen overnight — and that's okay. Transition takes time. Looking back, l'm incredibly grateful I chose to come here. The challenges made me stronger, and the community l've found has been more rewarding than l ever expected.
Tip for future students
Get out of your comfort zone! Join a student org, attend a campus ministry, run for a student government position — the more you plug in, the more rooted and confident you'll feel.
Favorite class
Public Speaking - I've always loved connecting with people, but this class taught me how to communicate with purpose, confidence, and clarity.
Career goals
In the future, I hope to work as an on-screen political broadcast journalist - covering campaigns, holding leaders accountable, and helping the public stay informed with clear, accurate reporting. I've also dreamed about one day stepping into the role of a press secretary - serving as the bridge between leaders and the public, and using my communication skills to represent something bigger than myself.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Though I love attending a Tri Delt function and dancing the night away, l'd say my favorite way to spend a free night is to get dinner with my best friends, make a sweet treat at home, and watch West Side Story on the couch!
