Describe your college experience
I transferred to Florida State University from FAU at just 17 years old, which was an exciting and transformative experience. Starting college as a transfer student at a young age came with its challenges, but FSU quickly became a place where I found support, growth, and a sense of belonging. The campus, opportunities, and community here have truly made me love it, and my time at FSU has been enriching both personally and academically.
Tip for future students
My biggest tip for future students is to be patient with yourself, it may take time to find your place, but everything works out for a reason. Stay open to new experiences, build connections, and trust the process. It’s okay to feel unsure at first; eventually, you’ll find your rhythm and the people who make you feel at home.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Wealth Management with Professor Dalisha Herring. It’s been incredibly rewarding because it combines practical knowledge with real-world applications, helping me better understand financial planning and investment strategies. Professor Herring’s engaging teaching style and expertise make the material both relatable and inspiring, motivating me to pursue a career in wealth management.
Career goals
After college, I hope to pursue a career in private wealth management and real estate. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families manage their finances, build wealth, and achieve their long-term goals. I also see real estate as a dynamic field that complements wealth management, offering opportunities for growth and investment. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in both industries while continuously learning and evolving professionally.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is painting and hanging out with friends. I love the creative outlet that painting provides, and sharing that time with friends makes it even more special. It’s a relaxing and fun way to bond, laugh, and make lasting memories.
