“Hi, I’m Natalie, a Human Biology undergrad at UCSD who loves putting people on to the best study spots, food spots, and campus connections. I’m big on late‑night runs, quick UTC mall adventures, and trying out unique campus activities and I can’t forget my cat, who keeps me company and adds a little extra joy to my days

Describe your college experience
My transition to college was surprisingly smooth thanks to the Summer Bridge program. It helped me start building connections early, practice communicating with others, and get comfortable with assignments before the quarter even began. As a first‑generation student, it gave me a sense of the school’s structure ahead of time, so I didn’t feel lost when classes started. I’d definitely recommend the program it helped me socialize, find my footing, and enter college with confidence.
Tip for future students
Set your priorities straight, your own priorities and let them guide you. Don’t change them just because of other people’s opinions. Staying true to what matters to you not only keeps you grounded, but it also helps you reflect on who you are and who you’re becoming. When you honor your priorities, you grow by adding to yourself not by removing parts of who you are. Over time, you’ll naturally find people who respect, encourage, and admire your values instead of trying to reshape them. Knowing what you stand for will help you navigate college with confidence.
Favorite class
BILD 1, Multicellular biology that went into how common health issues like thyroid issues developed and enjoyed making sense and understanding my body and the various systems to maintain it .
Career goals
To get my bachelor's in human biology and take it into occupational therapy career and also into TCM to be able to learn and educate my community towards more health resolutions and help a season of age that all will go through, old age and make sure they live and not survive .
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night is spending time with friends, catching up and taking a break from school topics. We talk through any worries to clear the air, then usually go out to eat and reset. It’s a nice way to separate ourselves from college stress and feel grounded again.

Favorite spot on campus
8th college study rooms so spacious and private and refreshing with the window access allowing you get fresh air at the same time. I love the big white board included and comfortable cushioned desk that allowed me to take nap for overnight studying and protected.
Meeting point
Triton Fountain on the University of California San Diego campus
