A friendly senior who loves exploring new scenic areas and attending BYU sports.
Hi, I’m Eric! I’m an Experience Design & Management (EXDM) student at BYU, and I genuinely love this campus and the people who make it special. Whether I’m participating in a BYU activity, catching up with a professor, meeting someone new, or exploring the mountains around Provo, I’m always looking for ways to make the most of the BYU experience. I love telling stories, connecting with people, and noticing the little details that make a place memorable. As a tour guide, my goal is to make every guest feel welcomed, have fun, and walk away thinking, “I could see myself here.”

Describe your college experience
Heading in to College, I was quite nervous. However, after living in the on campus, housing and connecting with my roommates, I immediately felt at home at BYU. I’ve loved exploring campus, playing intramural soccer, going to big 12 football games, attending musical performances, and learning from some of the best professors ever!
Tip for future students
College is much more difficult than high school, but learning how to organize your time and your studying at the beginning of the semester will help you to not fall behind on your assignments. It can be difficult to make friends, but by going to events and putting yourself out there, you will find people you connect with and can create long-lasting relationships with. Sign up for more classes than you’re realistically going to take, so you can drop the ones you don’t like and create your schedule after the first week of class.
Favorite class
MCOM 320 - A business communications class that taught me how to communicate effectively and clearly, develop professional relationships, and network confidently.
Career goals
I hope to get a job in New York City as an Experiential Marketing Consultant, and move there with my wife.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be by going to a BYU football game, getting pizza afterwards at Brick Oven Pizza and then having my friends over for a movie.
High school or secondary school
Madison High School
Favorite spot on campus
I love the nature walk on the west side of campus. I love being in the trees, walking along the stream, and studying in a quiet place.
