Describe your college experience
My transition to a new college has been challenging as I navigate widowhood and motherhood at the same time. However, I have much support. My family, friends, professors, and faculty have all been extremely helpful in making sure my experience at BYU is worthwhile.
Tip for future students
My advice is to ask as many questions as possible so you can get the help you need. I also know school is always better if you can make at least one friend in each class.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been my human development class I took at Southern Utah University. I loved learning about the development of humans throughout the lifespan and analyzing how that affected behavior.
Career goals
I hope to get an internship or job working with kids and families, specifically those who are underserved or developmentally challenged.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love spending time with my family whenever I get a free night. We often will watch TV, go on walks, or do fun activities indoors and outdoors.

Favorite spot on campus
I love the family section of the library. It is incredibly beneficial to have a space where my son can play and I can get schoolwork done. It is also a place to meet new people, especially those who have similar challenges of being both parents and students.
