Describe your college experience

Transitioning from high school to college can be stressful but UT offered many opportunities to meet new people, learn campus and student life, and feel more welcome. UT hosts an organization fair at the beginning of each semester with over 200+ student organizations and opportunities to help find your place and people. Because of this, I’ve been able to make new friends who have helped me in my experience so far.

Tip for future students

A tip I have for future students is to get involved on campus!! So many opportunities arise when you do!! Some you never would thought would be possible. You don’t have to do it all, but finding one opportunity can open so many doors!

Favorite class

My favorite class was a history class a took. In my class we reenacted a time in history. Some of us represented United Nations ambassadors, some were NGOs, and some played media representatives. I was a UN ambassador and it was so much fun being able to act out history but also learn how these roles work in real life!

Career goals

After college, I hope to find a job in behavioral health or social work. I plan to return to school for a Master’s at some point.

Ideal way to spend a free night

The best way to spend a free night is to take a walk around campus, go have dinner on the strip, or explore downtown!
