Describe your college experience

I was admitted to the University of Tennessee through early admissions. I had always wanted to come here, so once I arrived on campus, I was determined to make the most of every opportunity. When I first got to campus, I didn’t have any close friends coming with me, but living in a quad in Brown Hall quickly helped me adapt and meet new people. From there, I went through sorority recruitment, meeting new people every day and continuing to build connections. During my sophomore year, I joined Tennessee Athletics Event Management, where I met friends and mentors who helped guide me through my major and continue to support me today. Junior year, I moved to the Strip, the main hub of activity on campus, which gave me the chance to explore more of Knoxville and fully experience campus life. Now, I’ve added a minor because I’m not ready to leave this place any sooner than I have to!

Tip for future students

Take the chance and live with someone new and do not be afraid to step outside of your High School bubble. I grew up a hour and a half away from knoxville with 75 plus people from my high school coming here and the best thing I have ever done was step away from those people and meet my forever best friends and future bridesmaids from across the United States.

Favorite class

Intercollegiate Athletics. This class was taught by the Director of NIL operations for Tennessee Athletics and she gave a direct insight to current problems facing athletics. Using real life examples and being able to apply them to her class was something I got to learn so much from. Many rules I have taken and used in my stadium tours and athletic internships.

Career goals

Work behind the scenes in sports. Wether it is director of operations, recruiting, hospitality, or even entertainment. I open to the Event and Equipment industry as well.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going out to dinner or a sweet treat (especially at Cruze Farms) and then attending an athletic event on campus, especially baseball!
