Describe your college experience
I had a great transistion to college, because I've found a strong support network around me. Getting to Penn was very exciting, but also a bit intense because there's so much around me. I've navigated the top resources in the school and know exactly where to find the best place to study, eat, and seek support. I know the best ways to do well academically, socially, emotionally, and physically because I know who to reach out to. Love it here, and am so excited for the years ahead!
Tip for future students
I would start looking for opportunities very early on. Browse websites and look at study abroad options, clubs, and particular programs. There's an opportunity for everyone, and you can register for all sorts of events from Day 1 and I would not want to miss any of those! Another tip is to always network. The people around you are all interconnected and one person you meet at the beginning of the year might be someone who works closely with you a year later. Always make connections because everyone will be there to help each other!
Favorite class
Marketing 1018 has been my favourite class so far because we have very engaging discussions and talk about real-life scenarios. Marketing is everywhere, in our everyday items and we make consicous decisions about the things we buy so often. I have had lots of fun learning about different consumer and seller behaviours in this course.
