Describe your college experience

Amazing, the best thing that could have ever happened to me was being accepted to Vanderbilt. My life has not only changed, but it has also transformed by coming to Vanderbilt. It has revolutionized my ways of thinking and living. At first, I was lost being a first-generation student at a big college. Everything was confusing and overwhelming; however, as time continued, I found resources that have helped me immensely not only to survive, but to thrive. I made new friends, changed my way of thinking, and walked one step closer to the man that I want to be.

Tip for future students

Learn how to study, also pick a few clubs and events. Do not overwhelm yourself with the amount of options and find a few interesting things that you love to do. Also start working on your resume early and find internships as soon as possible. Lastly, enjoy every moment like its your last, be present with everything you do. Time passes by insanely quick and if you don't truly live with the moment, you really are not living.
