SchoolScoops Brings Private, Student-Led Campus Tours to BYU in Provo

PROVO, Utah — September 11, 2026 — SchoolScoops, a platform connecting prospective college students and families with current student guides for private, peer-led campus tours, today announced the launch of its guide network at Brigham Young University. Prospective students and families visiting Provo can now book a private BYU campus tour led by a current BYU student, an independent alternative to the university's official campus tours.
BYU joins a growing list of schools on SchoolScoops, which now covers 100+ colleges and universities nationwide, supported by a network of 2,400+ current student guides with an average rating of 4.98 out of 5.
“Choosing a college is a big decision, and families want to hear from someone who is living it,” said a co-founder of SchoolScoops. “Our BYU guides talk openly about classes, housing, and daily life in Provo, and families can ask them anything.”
On SchoolScoops, families can browse BYU guides, compare their year, major, and interests, and send a tour request to the guide who fits best. Tours run one or two hours, and one booking covers the whole group, so parents and siblings are welcome. Families who cannot travel to Provo can also book a virtual tour by video chat.
BYU tours through SchoolScoops are led entirely by current students and run independently of BYU admissions. SchoolScoops is not affiliated with or endorsed by the university. Families can learn more about how SchoolScoops works or start browsing BYU guides.
