Your Friendly UCSD Grad Ready to Show You the Real Campus Experience✨
Hi! I’m a recent UC San Diego graduate with firsthand experience navigating college life, academics, campus resources, and the transition into a large university. Having spent years exploring UCSD, I know there’s so much more to campus than what you see on a map! I love meeting new people and helping prospective students and families feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited about their college experience. I’m happy to share an honest student perspective, answer questions, point out useful resources, and show you some of the best spots and hidden gems around campus.

Describe your college experience
My college experience was good! I did struggle with doubting my psychology major and explore a variety of other majors including ecology, behavior and evolution, and marine biology but ultimately specialized in clinical psychology and picked up a second major in cognitive behavioral neuroscience!
Tip for future students
College may make you feel like an outsider especially your first year but believe me when I tell you that it gets better! You find your purpose, your people/community, your favorite spots, sports, events, orgs/clubs, independence and ultimately your daily routine! It does get easier!
Favorite class
My favorite college class has been my clinical psychology laboratory course in which I conducted research exploring trauma related guilt and substance abuse within the veteran population.
Career goals
I hope to transition into a Psyd program to continue taking the steps to obtain my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)!
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love to spend a free night out or indoors with ny friends! Whether it be to catch up, watch a movie, listen to music, go eat or get a drink or sweet treat! But overall enjoying the presence of my friends!
High school or secondary school
Ulysses S. Grant High School
Previous college
Los Ángeles Valley Community College
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite dining food hall spot is most definitely Spice with their yummy Mediterranean food! My favorite study spot has got to be in or outside of the Franklin Antonio hall building! My favorite lounging and relaxing spot is Keeling Apartment rooftop in Revelle College with the view of the beach! But also I love the view from the social science building rooftop in sixth college. But one of my top choices has also got to be down in Scripps Institution of Oceanography down by the beach! :)
