Describe your college experience
I’ve been a state fan my whole life so I bleed maroon and white. My transition was a little bit of a struggle honestly but I worked with my teachers and my advisors for what I needed help with and figured out a plan. I finished my freshman year with a 3.0 GPA.
Tip for future students
Definitely become close with teachers and advisors. Get involved on campus whether that’s a club sport or some other club. MSU is great and can help you with academic issues and learning issues as well. I have type 1 diabetes and they were very helpful to me and would take into account my disability.
Favorite class
If incoming freshman have the chance to take an FYE (first year experience) course I would take it. I took this my first semester and loved it we learned about transitions to college and how we learned and things to help.
Career goals
Go to Athletic Trainer school and then hopefully own my own practice or work for a team.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love to just hangout with my friends or relax in my room. I love to go down to the rec center to play pickleball and spike ball.
