University of Texas at Austin Campus Tour Guide
My name is Sarah and I'm a freshman here at The University of Texas! I was born and raised in Austin and most of my family went to UT, so I've always considered myself a Longhorn. When not doing school, I love to travel, bake, needlepoint, and spend time with my friends and family.

Describe your college experience
I've loved coming to college and have been able to make such great friends. Through living in an all-girls dorm, joining a sorority, and YoungLife, I've been able to make some of my best friends. I've also loved being in communications, because Moody offers so many resources for their students, and they truly care.
Tip for future students
My biggest advice it to get involved on campus, which can start as early as orientation. During orientation and the first week of the semester, clubs and orgs are tabling on speedway, and it can be a little overwhelming, but it's so worth it to get involved. Whether the org is related to your major/career goals, or just for fun, it's so important to find your peers with similar interests.
Favorite class
I really enjoyed taking Intro to Astronomy with Keith Hawkins. I took this class to fulfill my core science requirement, but I really loved learning about the universe and all its interactions. I don't typically prefer science classes, but I really loved his class and would definitely recommend taking it.
Career goals
I hope to get a job in social media marketing or digital advertising.
