Describe your college experience

I moved high schools after sophomore year, which was a difficult transition in and of itself. Getting to Michigan, I was nervous about a second fresh start. But, I can now confidently say that I had nothing to worry about - Ann Arbor is the greatest college town in the US, and I've had a blast over the past two years. There's nowhere else that blends work and play like UMich, and I'm happy you're considering our school!

Tip for future students

Apply to, and join as many clubs as possible. They're an invaluable resource to not only meet new people and form connections, but also prepare yourself professionally. Things can seem to move fast around you at Michigan, so it's important to stay on your feet and get involved in extracurricular activities early on.

Favorite class

My favorite class was an Honors First Year Writing Course on Westworld, and consciousness as a concept. We discussed a ton of fascinating topics not only relating to the show, but also tying in works from great historical authors who discussed sentience and the brain. This class challenged my preconceived notions of consciousness and awareness, and will definitely stick with me throughout the rest of my time at Michigan.

Career goals

I hope to work in Venture Capital, investing in and advising early-to-growth stage startups across biotech, health-tech, and more.

Favorite spot on campus

The Big House - the largest stadium in the Western Hemisphere, I'm continuously reminded of how insane this place is every time I step into it for a football game.
