Undergraduate at Duke University

Hi! My name is Chloe and I am a Junior at Duke on the pre-med track. I have spent a lot of time with different on-campus organizations and have learned a lot about the unique and captivating history of Duke. During my free time, I like to do ballet, yoga, volunteer, and I recently just learned the guitar!

Describe your college experience

Duke has been a dream come true and more. It is the perfect work hard play hard school that has an incredible on-campus unity through sports and student organizations and endless academic opportunities.

Tip for future students

Have a cohesive story to show the admissions committee when you apply. They are looking for authenticity rather than just checking every box.

Favorite class

My favorite class was Organic Chemistry I & II because although it was challenging it was also so rewarding to come up with your own synthesis of a complex chemical.

Career goals

I hope to take a gap year and then go to medical school for my MD!

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night on campus would definitely be taking an evening yoga class at the Ruby and then watching a basketball game at the dining hall.
