Describe your college experience
I started off my college journey at the University of Alabama in 2020, but transferred to UGA in Spring 2022. I switched majors three times, so it took me a big longer to graduate, but I didn't mind at all, as Athens is a great place to live.
Tip for future students
Get involved on campus, and don't be afraid to talk to people! The people in Athens are what make it such a fun city, and there are so many clubs and student work opportunities to help you meet new people. Also, UGA offers great opportunities to study abroad, and they really aren't as expensive as you would think. I'd love to share my experience with you all about my time here and abroad!
Favorite class
My favorite class at UGA was definitely my basketball PE class. Basically, all you had to do was show up and play basketball. It was awesome!
Career goals
I hope to find work as a Software Engineer in Atlanta soon. But until then, I will be around!
Ideal way to spend a free night
The nightlife in Athens is super fun, so I like to go out with my friends, but sometimes we stay in and play party games together. You can't go wrong either way!
High school or secondary school
I went to Etowah High School in Woodstock, GA.
Previous college
I went to the University of Alabama for my freshman year. I had a decent time there, but as a Filipino Student it felt hard to fit in sometimes. UGA is much more diverse, and I've met a lot of kind and fun people here.
