Hi, I'm Angela! I'm a Political Science & Legal Studies major at UC Santa Cruz, currently on the Dean's List with a 3.9 GPA. When I'm not in class, I'm working Game Operations for the Santa Cruz Warriors, managing the UCSC Men's Basketball team, or running my pre-law club. Describe your college experience

Coming to UCSC was a big transition, but getting involved early — through basketball team management and founding a pre-law club — helped me build community fast. Balancing academics with leadership roles pushed me to grow, and I've loved every part of it.

Tip for future students

Get involved early — joining clubs and taking on leadership roles is the fastest way to find your people and build real skills outside the classroom.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been all of my politics class, especially those taught by Professor Serres

Career goals

I plan on attending law school and getting involved in politics or becoming a sports lawyer for the NBA

Hanging out with my friends, ordering or making food and finding something to watch after hanging out at the beach
