UCF Senior & Future Healthcare Leader – Let's explore campus!
Hi, I'm Lola! I’m a senior studying Healthcare Administration with a minor in Health Sciences here at UCF. I transferred here and absolutely fell in love with the campus, the community, and the incredible opportunities. Outside of classes, I'm highly active in our local ACHE chapter and love exploring everything Orlando has to offer. I can't wait to show you around and share my transfer journey with you!

Describe your college experience
My transition to college was a unique journey as a transfer student, which initially felt a bit daunting. However, finding my footing at UCF was incredibly rewarding once I got involved on campus. Diving into my major and joining professional organizations helped me build a tight-knit community, turning this massive university into a place that truly feels like home.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to take the scenic route or transfer if your first stop isn't the right fit! Once you arrive, find your community early by joining at least one club related to your major and one purely for fun. It makes a large campus feel incredibly personal.
Favorite class
Even though I am no longer a nursing major, my favorite class has been Anatomy & Physiology. While it's incredibly challenging, understanding the actual structure and function of the human body gave me a much deeper appreciation for the clinical side of healthcare. It really helps bridge the gap between patient care and the administrative decisions I'll be making in the future.
Career goals
After graduation, I plan to pursue a fellowship or entry-level management role in health system operations, with the ultimate goal of working in hospital administration to optimize clinic workflows and patient experiences.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My favorite way to spend the night is inviting some friends over and having a game night. If we decide to go out, then we always find ourselves going to Mills Ave. for the amazing food!

Favorite spot on campus
The Student Union. It's the energetic heart of campus where you can always find students collaborating, grabbing food, or just hanging out between classes. It perfectly represents the vibrant, welcoming energy of our university.
