Describe your college experience
I came to Tufts from a medium-size public school in Central Massachusetts, and have had an excellent experience there overall. I have been thoroughly intertwined in Tufts' community through social and academic outlets, and have made all of my best friends through my fraternity.
Tip for future students
Take every opportunity that comes to you. If it's right in front of your face, you might as well do it.
Favorite class
Biophysics. I took this course as a freshman, and was terrified by the fact that half of the class was grad students. I ended up learning creative applications of the mathematical models that I would later learn in my upper-level physics and engineering classes, which made so much more conceptual sense from first seeing them in Biophysics.
Career goals
I will be staying at Tufts for my Master's in Materials Science and Engineering. After that, I hope to go into industry engineering research in medical devices and biomaterials.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I made most of my best friends in college through my fraternity, and we always have something going on at our house. There's always guys there to hang out with, a fun event going on, or a group of people to go out in the city with you.
