Tricia Block - Rising Sophomore studying International Affairs
Hi, my name is Tricia and I am a rising sophomore at GW. I have loved my experience so far. From living in Thurston my freshman year to moving into my sorority house this Fall I have experienced a broad scope of what GW has to offer. I love taking advantage of our metro pass, exploring the DMV. When not at school (which is rare because I love it here) I enjoy visiting my friends at their schools as well. I do plan on graduating a semester early as well. I really hope you love GW as much as I do and take a visit or ask any and all questions!

Describe your college experience
I have LOVED my college experience so far. I have met so many amazing people and found GW to be one of my favorite places. While I did experience some homesickness in the beginning, everything that GW has to offer made that short lived. I am proud to call not only GW, but Washington D.C. a home. I can not wait to get back on campus this Fall!
Tip for future students
Make a Google Calendar! Organize all deadlines, due dates, and days off before each year and semester in it You will be walking outside a lot, you need rain gear especially rain boots
Favorite class
Science, Technology, and Politics It assessed and analyzed how science, technology, and politics have been related and continue to be related. It was a mix of history and political science with such an amazing professor. He was genuinely so interested and passionate about the subject and the class.
Career goals
I hope to continue with my masters at GW Elliott in the Space Policy Institute and then work in space diplomacy.
