Describe your college experience
Transferring to GW was a big transition, but it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've enjoyed being part of a university where academics extend beyond the classroom and where being in Washington, D.C. creates so many opportunities to attend events, meet professionals and connect what I'm learning to the real world. Over time, I've become much more comfortable navigating campus, finding resources, and getting involved.
Tip for future students
Take advantage of everything GW and D.C. have to offer beyond the classroom. Attend events, talk to your professors and peers, get involved, and don't be afraid to ask for help or use campus resources. I also wish I had known earlier that it takes time to find your routine and community, especially as a transfer student.
Favorite class
My favorite class at GWU has been Conflict & Conflict Resolution. I especially enjoyed the interactive simulation, which gave us the opportunity to apply concepts we were learning in class to a realistic conflict scenario.
Career goals
I hope to pursue a career in international security, law, and policy. After completing my undergraduate degree, I am interested in attending law school.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night would be catching a movie in a Georgetown with friends and then walking over to the Georgetown Waterfront along the Potomac River. I also love riding scooters around the city and visiting the monuments at night with friends.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on Campus is Kogan Plaza because it really feels like the center of GW's student life. There is almost always something happening there, whether it's student organizations tabling, events, or just students passing through between classes. I like how lively and social it feels, and it's one of the places on campus that makes GW feel like a real community.
