Third-year Honors Ambassador Majoring in Heath Sciences and Psychology
I'm a second year Honors student at the University of South Florida pursing dual degrees in Health Sciences and Psychology. I am often times running around on campus, either at our Marshall Student Center or the Honors College, but when not in classes or student organizations, you can find me volunteering or spending the day outside. I love to try new activities and am currently honing my pickleball skills. I would love to share the insider secrets about USF and the pre-professional (medical, law, pharmacy, and grad) programs offered here (I’ve gotten an in-depth look into most of them).

Clubs, organizations & involvement
As a freshman at USF, I immediately jumped into getting involved. I am currently a student leader at Cru at USF, President of two pre-medical student associations, and a member of the Running Club at USF and Honors College Student Council. I love volunteering with Circle K at USF and Bright Young Minds Alliance (a tutoring program for middle schoolers). I would love to share more about how to get plugged in and involved at USF (or any college you decide).

Describe your college experience
Although a Florida-raised girl, I applied to over 20 colleges around the states and was accepted to almost all of them. I chose USF over UNC Chapel Hill, UVA, and Duke's International Kunshan University, amongst others. The transition to college was a big one, but so incredible. You have the opportunity to live with the people you learn and work with, try new things, and re-invent yourself over and over. For me, I grew deeper in my faith and friendships while also learning about what it looks like to self-pace in college-level classes.
Tip for future students
Get involved and find your community. I definitely recommend living in the dorms your first year and trying LLC. USF is huge, with over 36,000 undergraduate students, but you can find your family wherever you go. P.S.- If you’re considering Honors. Apply! It’s so much harder to get in as a second-year.
Favorite class
Life Cycles was a mandatory class for Health Science majors. The professor was amazing and the course was the perfect intersection between social science, psychology, and biological processes.
Career goals
I plan to attend graduate school, pursing a career that intersects with medicine, health, and policy. I would like to attend either medical school or law school, then pursue the other after I finish the first graduate program. I want to give back to the community as a public servant.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would definitely host a game night or movie night with friends, baking some sweet treats before.
