Clubs, organizations & involvement

I’ve done research on 4D lung imaging to predict cancer radiotherapy outcomes. Beyond the lab, I’m committed to advancing health equity through policy and advocacy. As a coalition member with Ibis Reproductive Health, I contributed to the successful FDA approval of over-the-counter birth control (Opill), serving on the Advisory Committee and raising public awareness through national media. My experience supports my goal of developing inclusive, patient-centered solutions at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and policy.

Describe your college experience

Coming to a school with more than 40,000 people was definitely a big culture shock since I came from a relatively small suburb. But I've come to find so many amazing people that have made this big school feel like a community.

Tip for future students

A big piece of advice for incoming students is to make friends in your classes!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been organic chemistry because (despite the horror stories) the topic is actually really interesting and it's very fun seeing how everything connects throughout the course.

Career goals

I want to work in pharmaceuticals and/or in the biotechnology field.
