Describe your college experience

Transferring to SMU has been an exciting and rewarding experience. Starting at a new university came with challenges, but it pushed me to grow, become more independent, and step outside my comfort zone. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people, getting involved on campus, and taking classes that align with my career goals in healthcare.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to ask for help or put yourself out there. Whether it’s introducing yourself to classmates, attending campus events, or visiting professors during office hours, those small steps make a huge difference. College goes by quickly, so take advantage of every opportunity.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been biology because it’s closely connected to my interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. I enjoy learning how the human body works, and it’s motivating to study material that I know I’ll use in my future career.

Career goals

After college, I plan to attend physician assistant (PA) school and specialize in dermatology. I’m passionate about helping patients feel confident and healthy while building meaningful relationships through patient care.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is grabbing dinner with friends, exploring a new coffee shop or restaurant, and ending the night with a movie with my friends and doing my skincare routine!!
