Describe your college experience

I'm a transfer from a college out of state, but grew up in Orlando and have been to UCF since I've been in middle school. I've had my ups and downs with UCF and its admin, but I love the people within my department and the university as a whole.

Tip for future students

If you ever fail a class and take it again, you have to submit an application for grade forgiveness. Don't be like me and assume it's automatic because your previous university did it (lol)

Favorite class

AST3110​/​PHZ3150 (Solar System Astronomy) ​/​ (Intro to Numerical Computing) Both physics courses, but very different. AST3110 gave me a great foundation and application of physics 1, and numerical computing taught me very practical coding skills within python.

Career goals

I'm not sure yet, given the current job market and situation. I currently work as an LA now, so maybe down the route of continuing with grad school, but I would be more than open to industry as well.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Sometimes on a game with a friend, sometimes out exploring somewhere with a friend. The heat in summer really makes night life brutal tho.

Previous college

University of Alaska Anchorage. I attended UAA during COVID era, so I don't think it's a fair estimate of the university, but it was barren. Anchorage isn't the most populous city out there, but every and any building was yours for the taking, with usually you and a maximum of 3 people in any given area. It was such a beautiful place and campus, and there are times I do miss it and would love to see it now.
