I started with a rough transition, but I picked myself up, kept going, and got through and found my place and spot
Tip for future students
My best advice for new and upcoming students is to push yourself to try new things and get involved. It is very easy to hide in your dorm, but the best way to keep going is to push your comfort zone.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Anti-Racist and equitable practices in theater. This class was discussion-based. I found this class so rejuvenating and freeing that we could discuss practices and talk about what efforts should be made to counteract the hurtful practices.
