Describe your college experience
At first my transition to college was pretty hard because it was hard for me to learn to be completely by myself but eventually things got easier for me and I was able to adapt. After the first 2-3 weeks, I was able to finally get a flow for myself as to how to do things and how campus life worked. Ever since then I have loved every single part of me being here, and even to this day I continue to enjoy every second being here.
Tip for future students
Keep moving forward and never look back. I know it's hard for students to transition to college and deal with the stress and a lot of times it feels easier for people to return home and just continue with their comfortable, easy lives. But if you are just able to hang in there for a bit, things will start to get easier and you will never regret your decision of staying in college, even through those rough times.
Favorite class
So far my favorite class has been a class called ME 12. This class is a mechanical engineering class which is required for my major. It's purpose is to teach students the basics of mechanical engineering. This includes how to use different machines (lathes, 3d printing, hand saws, etc.), how to journal, and even how to do isometric drawings.
Career goals
After college I am not entirely sure on what specific career I want. But I will say that as of right now, I am really fascinated with cars and I would love to pursue a career dealing with cars. A career that looks interesting to me is a racecar powertrain engineer.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a night is to explore new parts of Isla Vista, parts that I have never been to before. I also love going to the beach at night and watching the sunset, and sometimes even the stars.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite part of campus is the Interactive Learning Pavilion (ILP) because to me it is the most beautiful building on campus. I love the way that it is constructed, every part of the building flows together and comes together beautifully. It is also right next to the library and I love the view from the 8th floor of the library.
