Describe your college experience
I came to Boulder as an out-of-state student and I knew practically no one. I was able to build a community of friends throughout my time here and develop a deep love for the state of Colorado. Boulder has been the best choice I could have made in regards to my future education and life development.

Favorite class
History of Landscape Architecture. Learning the historical context behind design across the globe broadened my understanding of the importance of design in shaping the built environment. I also loved my professor so that is a plus.
Career goals
I hope to begin my career in the field of landscape architecture and then see what happens from there. I have a deep love for the environment as well as urban design so I want to continue learning and seeing where my career journey takes me.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Going out to a cute dinner with my friends on Pearl Street. Our fav places are Avanti, Postinos, and Bartaco. And taking cute pics of course.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is a newly developed area. During this summer Boulder is redeveloping the corridor between the lower hill and the western edge of campus. There is a beautiful lake with a path across it and they added a reflection area with a secluded path and a variety of species of perennials, native grasses and shrubs. As a Landscape student I love seeing the school develop more areas like this.
