Describe your college experience
Starting college was both exciting and overwhelming. The transition from high school to college life came with a lot of new responsibilities, like managing my own schedule, adjusting to a new academic pace, and finding my place socially. What helped most was getting involved on campus and connecting with other students who had been through it. Now, as a senior, I’ve found my rhythm, built a great support system, and gained a deeper understanding of what it’s really like to live and learn here. I’d love to share what I’ve learned and help make your transition smoother too.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to reach out to people and try to expand your circle. I know it can be scary, but most freshman are in the same exact boat as you and are looking to meet people as well!
Favorite class
My favorite class was Busn 101. It was a very simple class, but I really liked the organization of it all. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we met in a lecture type setting, and Fridays were breakout groups which encouraged us to be creative and have fun with it, which I found very helpful.
Career goals
After graduating from A&M, I plan to attend law school and then become a criminal defense attorney.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Honestly, an ideal free night for me is hanging out with some friends watching football, playing video games, or maybe even going out to Northgate on the weekends.
High school or secondary school
I attended Stony Point High School in Round Rock, TX.
