Describe your college experience

My time at UCF as a Psychology major has been all about balancing a focused path toward child psychology with my job. The transition from a gap year abroad was a major shift, moving from total independence to the structure of college coursework. However, that time overseas gave me the maturity to handle a busy schedule balancing work and classes.

Tip for future students

Get involved in things outside your major early, and don't stress if you don't have every detail of your future perfectly mapped out on day one. Take advantage of campus resources and find your balance between school work and downtime.

Favorite class

Cognitive Psychology. I found learning about human memory, perception, and how the mind processes complex information, so interesting.

Career goals

I hope to attend graduate school and ultimately become a practicing child psychologist.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Throwing on a funny movie, unwinding, and building LEGO sets with my girlfriend.
