Psych & Sociology @ UC Berkeley: Academics, Clubs & Social Life (On a Real Note)
Hello, interested Bear! I'm Andie, an intended Psychology and Sociology student at UC Berkeley. I enjoy finding new brunch spots, running during sunset time, and laughing with my friends. I am originally from the Bay Area, and would LOVE to share about my wonderful and hectic college life juggling academics, a professional health fraternity, and a sports club. You can ask me anything and everything Berkeley related :)

Describe your college experience
Honestly, transitioning to college was difficult. I had a difficult time finding the right clubs to join and it took some time to find my people. However, after being integrated into communities where I felt like I belonged, college has been an amazing journey and I'm excited for what's to come.
Tip for future students
The academics are difficult, but taking the time to find your people who will be there for you is the most important part. Cherish the little things, and ask for help when you're stuck.
Favorite class
Sociology 1! This class completed flipped my perspective on the world. The subject of sociology is completely underrated, and I underestimated how much I would learn about the impact of societal forces on people's lives.
Career goals
I'm not completely sure, but I know I want to be interacting with people on a regular basis. As of now, I am leaning toward being a therapist or dietitian.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I really value quality time with my close friends. This usually looks like dancing to our favorite songs or watching some shows we've been meaning to catch up on. I love trying new dinner and dessert with them as well.
