Hi! I'm Olivia, a psychology major on the pre-law track. My legal interests with psychology combined give me a unique view of campus, and have put me in a lot of interesting classes! I am more than happy to share my experience and all that Hofstra has to bring! You can find me on campus in one of of our on campus eateries or on a walk to our fitness center. I love going to a spontaneous Hofstra concert being held or a sports game with some of my friends. Hofstra has so much to offer and I'm excited to share with you.

Describe your college experience

College has been a place for me to become the person I have always wanted to be. I have been able to hone my leadership skills, my ability to connect with people of different backgrounds, and learned to take advantage of every opportunity which comes my way. I also have learned how to have balance --with academics, work, friends, and personal hobby time.

Tip for future students

Get into a routine. You have so much freedom right away, it can be overwhelming for a new student. Get into a routine of waking up, grabbing breakfast, going to class, doing homework, maybe going to the gym or hanging with friends. It will help one to become more organized and you are able to manage your time better.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been my psychopathology or neuroscience class. Both were extremely challenging in their various ways, yet so rewarding and fulfilling to complete with A's. I love psychology and they were both classes that dealt with the "whys" of psychology, and were especially entangled.

Career goals

I will be going to law school or possibly the FBI

Ideal way to spend a free night

I rarely get free nights so I love to do a self care night. Dinner with friends, heading back to the dorm to shower, and enjoying a nice movie​/​book by myself before heading to bed.

My favorite spot is Bits&Bytes. The food is so good and it's a great place to study, and run into your friends in between classes.
