Pre-med Neuroscience major, who knows all the coffee shops.
Hi, I am Megan! I am a sophomore here on the pre-medical route and getting my degree in neuroscience. I am from Michigan, just outside of the Detroit area. I was originally recruited here to row for the MSU women's team, however this year I had to retire from my sport due to injury and health. So now I am figuring out life without my sport, and falling more in love with MSU. You will usually find me either at the gym or at a local coffee shop. I know about every coffee shop in town, so if you need any recommendations, I got you! I also love walking around campus with my friends, enjoying the open space and MSU culture. My whole family has gone to MSU, so I have been visiting this campus for a long time! Now that I go here, I finally understand what makes MSU so amazing!

Describe your college experience
I was actually recruited to MSU for women's rowing, but have sense had to retire from the sport. I love MSUs campus and their spirt, it is what drew me in. So far my college experience has been great, and I have meet a lot of new friends!
Tip for future students
Some things I wish I new about college was how to mange my time. Time management is very different in college than in high school. So you have to learn how you will spend your time, and create time to study and do homework. But it is also important to have fun with friends.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been psychology, I loved learning about human behavior and how it developed in different ways.
Career goals
I hope to go to medical school, and become either a pediatrician or sports medical doctor.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend my free night is going out or staying in with friends for dinner. It would also include a late night ice cream run with our favorite movie and craft.
High school or secondary school
Northville High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is the Beaumont Tower. I think the crossing sidewalks are really cool, and I love when the bells go off, as well as the old lamps.
