Pre-Dental Honors Student Ready To Help You
Hello! My name is Leah and I am a Pre-Dental student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College here at USF. I live in the dorms on campus and I would love to help you get to know what campus life is like! I can also help with any questions related to Pre-Professional tracks with an emphasis of the Pre-Medical/Pre-Health ones. I love spending time outside doing activities around campus and being involved in student organizations, as well as exploring all the fun things Tampa has to offer. If you are wondering how to make the most of your time at USF, I'll teach you all there is to know.

Describe your college experience
I was nervous about transitioning to college as I had changed highschools often, lived abroad, and virtually homeschooled myself as well as completed dual enrollment at my local community college. However, I felt very welcomed at USF and decided to put myself out there and am constantly meeting new amazing people and having a great time. Living in the dorms greatly asssisted with this, especially living in the Honors LLC because I already had a lot in common with people around me.
Tip for future students
There is a place for you, this campus is incredibly diverse and you will find the right people and places where you feel welcome. Also, college really is what you make of it, find a schedule that works for you and you will be able to study and succeed while also exploring Tampa and having fun.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Biology II: Biodiversity and its corresponding lab. It taught me a lot about the biology of life and I loved doing hands-on labwork.
Career goals
After college, I hope to matriculate to dental school and become a practicing dentist in the future.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I enjoy spending my free nights in various ways, staying in and baking, watching the sun set on the beach, going downtown and walking on the riverwalk, or having a blast at busch gardens.
