Hi! My name is Pragna Midasala, and I am from Suwanee, Georgia. I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington studying Finance and Economic Consulting at the Kelley School of Business. I am involved in various academic clubs on campus, and well educated about most of the organizations IU has to offer! In my free time, I love trying new restaurants with my friends and playing pickleball!

Describe your college experience

At first I was nervous about attending college out of state, but it was the best decision I made. I love the campus, but more importantly, the people that I met here! There are many people that also came here out of state so it was a great and welcoming environment to be around. In terms of academics, I feel like I have so much support and many resources that will set me up for success.

Tip for future students

Don't be afraid of putting yourself out there. College is a big step, but keep in mind that everyone here is on the same page as you. Be bold, try new things, and make sure to not have any regrets.

Favorite class

Compass 2, it was a great space to be able to get introduced to the side of business that is not traditionally talked about in classes. My professor makes the class fun and engaging and allows us to express our concerns in the field with no pressure!

Career goals

I hope to go into healthcare consulting in the future.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to go out and try new things with friends, trying new restaurants on Kirkwood, or just staying in and having a calming self care day while catching up on my favorite show.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus definitely has to be the IMU. Not only is the walk to the IMU beautiful, but the building itself is just as pretty. It is a great place to use up combo meals, have a good study session, or do activities like bowling!
