Outgoing Stem Majors (Public Health Science) who love being true to themselves

Hey! I’m Naomi, a Public Health major, and unofficial group event coordinator Even though almost half my high school ended up at UMD, I made it my personal mission not to stay in a comfort zone. I’m always pulling people together for something fun, whether that’s hosting a chill movie night, going on late-night campus walks, or gathering everyone for a proper "family" dinner. You can usually catch me in ESJ (easily the best building on campus) or lingering in the dining hall—though I’m actively trying to swap those dining hall hours for time at the gym! Whether you're looking for a study buddy, a workout partner, or just want to join the next group hang, feel free to reach out. Ask me anything about navigating UMD, making a big campus feel small, or finding the best spots around!

Describe your college experience

So far so great, especially when getting out the dorm and being outgoing with meeting new people and finding things to do on campus. And meeting lovely friends where we are so different but so alike.

Tip for future students

my best advice is having fun and being outgoing, talk to different people, AND GO OUTTTT. don’t stay in your dorm you’ll have time for that!! and also create a schedule where you can get your work done from monday-thrusday so you don’t have to worry and a deadline and plus you’ll know everything is done on TIMEE!!
