Outgoing Psychology Major who will tell you all about the campus, good and bad.
Hi! I’m Rose, I’m a Global student from Rome Italy. I’m currently pursuing a major in Psychology, but i’m still interested in looking at other fields. I’m also interested in Fashion, Marketing, Italian, and Media. I’m a very extroverted and enthusiastic person, and I love talking to new people about myself! I am part of multiple clubs here at rutgers but i’m always looking for something new to do everyday. If u ever meet me, you’d probably always see me at either the library, or at any food service getting something to eat. I believe I have a very unbiased opinion about rutgers, and I can answer all personal questions about Rutgers with no filter. RUH RAH RAH!

Clubs, organizations & involvement
I’ve been involved in the Glamour Gals and Italian club. Mostly I enjoy to go to charity events organized by clubs, like decorating items for patients at the hospital near by. Soon I will be involved in the swimming club and might decide to try a new sport.

Describe your college experience
Moving from across the world was initially really hard, especially setting into a new environment. I’d say that Rutgers has a very autonomous system, where often you need to seek professors attention. After settling in and finding my people everything became much more smooth and I would say i’m having absolutely the most fun from the books to the parties.
Tip for future students
Never be scared to do anything or join any group. At rutgers it can be hard to initially feel settled, I believe it’s like that for most universities, joining the clubs you like helps you find your people. Another thing is to make use of all the facilities the University has to provide, from academic to athletic.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been my European Fashion course. It has opened a new creative world and environment that i’ve been desperately seeking for, especially to express my creativity.
Career goals
After college I seek to get a masters degree and then a pHD degree in psychology. To later most likely become a psychologist, however i’m still learning what I really enjoy doing.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Depending on what day of the week, on average if I have free time I like to read and relax if I’m in the mood, or I really enjoy hanging out with friends and going on walks around. On weekends I like to have fun out with my friends and meet new people .
High school or secondary school

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is the Cook/Doug area overall. The entire campus area is immensely beautiful and green, and looking at the farm animals warms my heart. There is also good food options there, like the Harvest, which is always a steal!
