Hi! I'm Emma and I am going into my last year at Michigan State University. I am double majoring in Digital Storytelling (with a concentration in Multicam Production) and Spanish. Once I graduate I am hoping to pursue sports broadcasting in New York or Tennessee.

Describe your college experience

My first year was definitely more difficult and a transition but I joined clubs and made friends. My second year was much better as I had a community and friends around me. My third and final year (I'm graduating early) is starting off strong and I am super excited for the classes I am taking and the clubs and jobs I will be in​/​have.

Tip for future students

Before classes start, walk to where your classes are so that on the day of you are less stressed. Join clubs because it is such a great way to make friends.

Favorite class

Multicam Production 1. It was memorable because the class was simulating a live news production and a live interview. I learned so much in this class and it helped me to see what I want to do in the future.

Career goals

I hope to move to New York and work in sports broadcasting.

Hanging out with my friends at my apartment, playing board games or having a movie night.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the Horticultural Gardens. It is such a beautiful and relaxing place to go and think and rest when stressed.
