Hi! I am Catherine, I am a junior Communications major with a minor in English at Clemson University! Coming from Massachusetts, Clemson has become a second home! It has now brought me a new family with friends I am going to stay in touch with forever! You'll usually find me at the Lake or playing football on Bowman field with my friends! My favorite study spot on campus is outside the library, so that I can look at the reflection pond. What I love the most about Clemson's campus is that it is very walkable! Almost as much as I love how Death Valley stadium is just a few steps away from the academic buildings! My experience so far at Clemson University has been the best time of my life so far! I have made so many new friends and I have met people from all over the country. There is always something for me to do at Clemson and I always find myself having the best time!

A tip I would give to future students is to join as many clubs involving your major as you can! I have found many opportunities through the one's I have joined!

Favorite class

My favorite class that I have taken at Clemson University is Fundamentals of Media Storytelling. This is my favorite class because it has allowed me to dive deeper into my major and it allows me to explore what I am interested in for a career.

Career goals

After college I hope to work in journalism! I love writing and would hope to get into the journalistic field!

Ideal way to spend a free night

A way to spend a free night is by having my friends come to my apartment and watch a movie! Another way to spend a free night is to go downtown with my friends and get dinner!
