Describe your college experience
Currently I am going into my senior year at LSU, and it is definitly bittersweet. I am excited to start a new chapter of my life with law school but I am very sad to leave LSU and my wonderful lifelong friends, and teachers that I have met at LSU. This school allowed me to grow into the young adult I am today, presenting me with so many wonderful opportunities. I was able to embrace the rich culture of LSU, and experience things I never thought were possible. College at LSU has been the best experience of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world.
Tip for future students
Use all the academic resources LSU provides, whether that be the tutoring center, study groups, acdemic center for success, etc. As a student with a learning disabilty, I have really benifitted from all the guidance that LSU provides. No matter what kind of student you are you can benefit from these resources. LSU wants to help you evolve into a successful young adult in your career and personal life.
Favorite class
My favorite class would have to be Neuroscience with Proffessor Heather Lucas. She teaches with passion, and cares about her students well-being. The material from the class is very interesting if you are curious about the brain and its physiology. She also teaches helpful ways to study and provides a packet before every test that really helped me do well in the class. I have taken additional classes with her and really enjoy those as well.
Career goals
I will attend law school in the fall of 2026, and become a practicing criminal attorney. After practicing law for a while, I plan to switch over to the F.B.I. Behavioral Analysis Unit.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Go try a new resteraunt or walk around the LSU Lake.
