Michigan State University Sophomore
Hi! I'm Morgan, a sophomore majoring in Ag Education. I love all things outdoors related, and I love turtles! I'm from Saline Michigan, and came here knowing just a few people. Through talking to those I sat next to in class, I was able to meet some of my best friends. We spend most of our nights doing homework, catching up, watching movies and going to Taco Bell. Tuesday nights though are reserved for DWTS. During the summer, I spend my days teaching at a summer camp, where there is never a dull moment. I love getting to meet new people, and branch out of my comfort zone. Coming to school here has brought me out of my comfort zone in such a positive way, and I hope it does to you too!

Describe your college experience
The transition for me was overall good. It took some getting used to the different schedule (class wise and routine wise) but it worked out very well. I was able to talk to people in my classes, and made the majority of my friends that way.
Tip for future students
Reach out to your professors. They are always more than willing to help you. Also don't be afraid to talk to the people next to you in classes. This is how you are going to meet a lot of your friends, especially at first so try to make that time count.
Favorite class
Forestry is by far my favorite. We get to see all around campus, and class is never boring. Class doesn't ever take place in an actual classroom, its always somewhere fun.
