Hello, I’m Priya, a junior at Hofstra University majoring in Sociology and minoring in criminology through the LEAP Program. I am particularly passionate about issues at the intersection of law and social justice. I am also the president of Phi Alpha Delta and involved in a pleathora of clubs and orginzations on campus, along with being a tutor for both the math department and the undergraduate tutorial program. Describe your college experience

My sister went to Hofstra University too so I learned a lot about the insides about the school through her and the law program that I am in because of her.

Tip for future students

Learn how to read and take notes because a lot of the liberal art courses repeat readings so it is better to just read it onces and take really good notes.

Favorite class

Law, Politics, and Society. I learned so much about Law and professor Kaufman is my favorite professor.

Career goals

I am in the LEAP program so I will be attending Law school next year and hopefully in 3 years I will pass the Bar exam and become a practicing attorney.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love going out with my friends whether that is a fancy dinner, exploring new places, or doing activities like axe throwing, paintball, racing, etc.
