Loud, fun, and spunky Kinesiology major, who loves to explore campus!
Hi! I'm Madi, I'm a sophomore majoring in kinesiology here at MSU. I'm always on the go, and you'll definitely find me with a coffee in hand. I'm from a small town called Romeo Michigan, but am overjoyed to call MSU my second home. The people, environment, and obviously the football make East Lansing a place everyone belongs. I'm always walking around campus, finding new nature study spots, and of course making friends with the campus squirrels. Or in the biggest Rory Gilmore spot on campus, the MSU union. Grand River has the best shopping spots as well, all in one convenient area. I am overjoyed to show you the place I call home, and hopefully you will too! There is so many sites to see and countless clubs, sports, and people to make you feel welcome. I'm excited to share the day to day life at MSU, everyday is a great day as a sparty!

Describe your college experience
I love college! College has taught me so much independence, and allowed me to find myself and my passions in life. Meeting new friends, finding a campus that feels like home, and taking in so much knowledge from classes is something I'm so grateful to experience.
Tip for future students
I would say the best piece of advice is get out of your comfort zone, talk to new people and involve yourself. College is a lot about independence and you have to find your people. Even though it may feel awkward or uncomfortable it helps you find your people. Having a circle is crucial to have support during such a time of drastic change.
Favorite class
My favorite classes are my kinesiology classes. It is so interesting to learn about the functions of the body and how important it is to move your body. Learning anatomy and physiology is so insightful to learn more about the human body.
Career goals
I aspire to go to PA school get my masters in PA-C, and become a pediatric physician assistant.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would love to spend a free night with my friends going out to dinner, exploring campus and downtown. I love to go on late night walks as well.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is anywhere along the Red Cedar river. Listening to the water rush while doing homework or going for a walk is so calming. The botanical gardens are also such a peaceful spot, the landscaping is beautiful. As well as so many coffee shops and hidden study spots!
