Describe your college experience

My transition to college was greatly anticipated, and a lot easier than expected with all of the resources provided to me by my university! Academics was a bit of an adjustment, but now I am thriving in my major! I have had just about the best time possible with roommates (all of which have been randomly assigned), professors are very open to communication and help when asked, and there are so many things to do on campus that make life just a bit better!

Tip for future students

Get yourself acquainted with the tutoring centers on campus right away, and make sure your professors know your name! Ask questions, attend study hours and office hours, and overall find a good balance! While being a good student is important, none of that will matter if you burn yourself out! Make good friends, experience new things, and overall just be yourself!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been PHIL1250, I never imagined myself liking this course to be honest. It was for a global perspective credit, but I ended up being deeply invested in how philosophy shapes the world around me, and political ideology and how I can see it in the way society has developed! I had deep, meaningful discussion in this course, my instructors were invested and incredibly approachable as well

Career goals

I hope to work in economics before pursuing a JD!

Ideal way to spend a free night

A night in with my partner or friends, making a homemade meal and watching old movies or even just sitting and talking together! And of COURSE ice cream after!

High school or secondary school

Thomas B. Doherty High School

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the MARC, while I am no longer a STEM major, it was a large help when I was! I still go there to study and just have a good, comfortable environment to be in!

Meeting point

Dalton Trumbo Fountain Court on the University of Colorado Boulder Campus
