Describe your college experience

I came to UA as an 18 year old transfer student, hoping to finish my degree in 2 years. It was hard being away from home for the first time at such a young age. I was unsure if I would find my place in such a large university. However, I fell in LOVE with the University of Alabama! There are so many opportunities here, and I know that I made the right decision!

Tip for future students

My biggest tip to incoming students is to simply walk up and say hi to people! Whether it’s in the dining hall, elevator, or in class- introduce yourself to your peers! You will meet so many new friends this way. The people you surround yourself with will shape your entire college experience.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been my piano classes. Although I am not the world’s greatest piano player, Dr. Woosley is so encouraging and constantly uplifts his students!

Career goals

I am interested in a career in Real Estate or Event Planning after college.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love hosting dinner/themed parties for my friends! Even an ordinary movie night can be spectacular!
